母親節

今天是台灣的母親節。

雖然時差的關係，我這邊還是星期六，不過，老媽在台灣，所以今天對我而言，是母親節。

早過了留學的年紀，但仍負笈遠行，很多的感觸，也只能點滴細數在自己心頭。

台灣有很多東西可以懷念，但最令我放不下的，是每每要關掉Skype前，老媽透過老花眼鏡，努力地在地球彼端往電腦營幕張望，想要抓住最後零點幾秒，把兒子再看清楚的神情。

這種縫在心頭上無形的針線，才是讓遊子鼻腔酸溜低吟的鄉愁啊。

Both Sides Now (by Joni Mitchell)

在 Love Actually 這部電影中，當 Karen (Emma Thompson主演) 發現自己老公有外遇，為了避免破壞全家人過聖誕節的氣氛，跑到房間痛哭的時候，這首由 Joni Mitchell 演唱的 "Both Sides, Now" 適時響起。在看影片的當下，真的覺得這首歌配得很好。

除了歌詞的意境，演唱者滄桑的嗓音，著實把人生的很多無奈，詮釋的鞭辟入裏。

聽過 Joni Mitchell 不同時間唱的 "Both Sides, Now"，甚至是不同人演唱的版本，例如：1968年 Joni Mitchell 寫了這首歌，交給 Judy Collins 首唱的版本，還是覺得這個 Joni Mitchell 2000年的錄音版本是最好聽的，比 Joni Mitchell 2000年的演唱會 live 版還好聽。有些版本是用輕快的唱法來詮釋，不過，真的聽不下去那些輕快的版本，感覺把整首歌的意境都破壞掉了。
